Really Clean and Beautiful
This property has really come a long way in the last few months. The manager and maintenance staff have been wonderful. Very happy to be living here.

The good, the bad, and the children.
Living in a Woodland Point apartment has been great for the most part. Rent is fairly cheap (it's an affordable housing community) and the apartments really are quite nice. We have a 3 Bedroom/2 Bath and pay a total of $690 per month, which includes water at no extra charge.
The Staff here is helpful enough, but I'm not sure I've ever had an absolutely clear conversation with them. They always seem to be bothered by any questions I have. Still, they get the things I need done, so there aren't... really any problems there. Maintenance usually handles things pretty promptly, but there were a small handful of things wrong with the apartment when we moved in, such as nonworking fans, broken kitchen drawers, tough to open doors, etc..
As far as location goes, it's in a decent place. Not a ton of crime out here, and everything is within 5-10 minutes of driving. Walmart is only about a mile and a half away, and St. John's River State College is right up the road. If you don't have a car and plan on walking most places, you may want to choose somewhere a little closer to town.
Woodland at night feels safe for the most part, as the buildings and parking lot really are pretty well lit. Some people do tend to hangout outside at night, but I've never felt that I was in danger walking from one apartment to another in the wee hours of the morning. In the summer time the pool is open, but ONLY in the Summer. I want to say that they closed it as early as September last year, which is still a pretty warm time of year in Florida.
The one thing that truly brings my rating down is ALL. THE. KIDS. Now, I actually really like children. Living here has nearly all but ruined that for me though. The neighborhood kids are constantly running around screaming at all hours of the day. They hangout in the hallways, on the stairs, in the parking lot, and wherever else they can find themselves. They have thrown rocks at our windows (not to the point of breaking, just annoyance) and are constantly knocking on our door and running away. This isn't just specific to my apartment or building either, but many of the buildings here at Woodland.
Woodland is great if you want a nice place to live at an affordable cost. Just be wary of the kids.
