Living Beachside
I have lived here for over 3 years now. Being a single female this apartment complex is quiet, safe and secure. I have a beautiful 2 bedroom apartment with a fabulous walk-in closet. It is walking distance to the beach. They have a great pool area. Our property manager Libby, runs this place with great enthusiasm. She is a pleasure to deal with. If you have something that needs repair it is done within the day of your call. Neighbors are extremely quiet and respects everyone's space. ... It's been a long time since I lived in an apartment but I am so happy my neighbor suggested this apartment complex to me.

Mystery inspection
Let me tell you a story of a Mystery Fire Inspection. It shows in many ways how Shelby, the new Property Manager, runs the apartments now. One morning we found a note on our door notifying about an impending inspection next week. Fire code compliance is important, it said. Make sure your windows, doors, vent shafts and other major orifices are not blocked in case of a fire, it stated in a menacing tone. And heavens help you if your park your bike under the stair case, your bike is a fire hazard... . We will be entering 30% of the apartments, it warned. We stayed home, we cleaned up, we waited all day, no one ever showed up. The note on the door next day said the inspection was cancelled and rescheduled for next week. This would repeat three or four times. Knowing Shelby, we took time off work and stayed home each time, fully expecting Shelby to barge in, fire marshals by her side, open the door wide, let our cat out, and then write us up for every fire code violation known to a man since prehistoric times. After the fourth notice, no one showed up either. We fully expected a fifth one, but it never materialized.
We asked Shelby the next day how the Fire inspection went. We passed it with flying colors, she said, avoiding eye contact. With her extensive background in student housing, I wonder if this was her idea of keeping everyone on their toes ? Who knows...On a completely unrelated note, a few days after the last notice
a fire alarm went off in the building. It was loud and obnoxious, it was reaching every corner of the building, it lasted a good portion of the day and ear plugs would not help.

Beachside Apts. Satellite Beach FL
They have about 55 units I am told, painted tropical. Some have balconies and some do not. The weather here is so humid you may just want to skip the balcony. They keep it very clean and so far nothing has come to visit us (if you know what I mean) The management including maintenance seem happy to help you. I can come or e-mail a question about anything about this place and they usually will answer right away. The residents are friendly and more than happy to help you. Rent amounts depending on... whether you want a year lease or less. Less time for your lease it costs more which makes sense. Rents that I know about for us a 2 bedroom are about $1200 3 bedrooms $1300 but that could be on a individual basis ours was a six month lease. The beach is across the street. The schools a few blocks up, bank grocery too. They have a pool and pets are allowed for extra fee landscaping is beautiful. I've had no noise at night. From what I have experienced it is a mostly working older community. Inside floor plans are roomy not grand but all you need. Comes with washer and dryer, stove, fridge, no microwave, which is hard to find. Really nice!
