Home sweet home!

I rented at 42nd street apartments 1 year ago and really enjoy it. I like the layout and how big the rooms are. My son can go to a good school AND I can afford the rent.
The manager is doing well at keeping the community nice, clean and peaceful.
Thank you Ms Ella for the pool party you organized. It was really fun and a nice way to meet neighbors! I like the fact it is a mix of families and college students.

Renter Beware!

Hands down the worst apartment complex I have ever lived in. Ella is the worst landlord. All she could do was leave obnoxious notes all over your door about whatever she happened to be annoyed about that week. She was impossible to get a hold of for days on end when a pipe burst and tenants were without running water all that time with no information as to what was going on and when it would be fixed. Neighbors were violent drug dealers who were being investigated by the sheriff's office for... child endangerment. Never live in this complex, it is unprofessional, unsafe, and disgusting. Pay the extra money and live in a different and nicer complex.

Worst of the WORST

Before you apply to stay here. Please read this.
First it's mold and seeing how old this apartment complex is, it's water damage with the pipes. One day, I couldn't use my water or flush my toilet because of something weird and they never gave notes about the water being off. And I hate this building manager, she thinks she's helping, but she doesn't help with nothing but notes. Her son works here... He's terrible, haven't seen him do real work yet. Maybe because his mom runs the place....
DON'T MOVE HERE, UNLESS YOU LIKE LIVING WITH MAJOR PROBLEMS.
