Rent charged during flooding
I have lived at the gentry for nine months now. The first eight months were great, but about a month ago my apartment flooded due to the sprinklers going off from a fire in a different unit. It took almost a month for them to complete renovations. They did not compensate me in any way. They even made me pay rent, threatening late fees if I didn’t pay. Even though I could not live in my unit for a month. To make matters worse, when I was finally able to move back in, my apartment was ransacked. I... had left my apartment VERY clean. When I got back, there are items all over my counter and floors, my bed has been unmade, closet opened and emptied, wires out in the bathroom, etc. Again with no compensation whatsoever. The gentry does not take care of their people in a crisis. The lack of consideration or assistance has been shocking to say the least.
