What are rental requirements

My Employee met are the requirements according to what was required but was still denied and have to wait 4 weeks to get her $350 in fees that was paid at time of application back. Just don't seem right to me and even after denied was told she has to still pay $150 for what? Application fee was only $50. I believe they have all these people applying and denying then collecting unnecessary fees.

Run As Fast As You Can From

I lived there for 5 1/2 years the quality of the property has gone down. The quality of life at this location is not great. We are overrun with roaches. The management is very disrespectful. Its overall handle at the property is rude and disrespectful to your needs. The rent is high and they have no upgrades. If you take a garden apt you have a lot of moisture in the apartment. That cause mold on the windows and the walls in the closets. The moisture causes the entire light fixture to rust.... Every time you ask for something they have to look into it. If the Maintenance guys come to fix something they halfway fix what you complained about and break the same thing somewhere else. If you are renting apt 601. Please be aware of the mold and water damage. I got flood three times. I got a flood in April then again in June. The response was not good. The assistant manager is a rude nasty. He tells us that the fans they brought to dry the carpet are dry in the walls. It took me 6 calls the night I got flood out for anyone to come to my apartment. Then wait another week to get new carpet. Then they came to see the cabinet needed changing threw out the apartment. They came twice still no new cabinet. I have moved out since 11/30. I still can get a walkthrough to get my deposit. If you’re rent at Paxton Lane is aware of the treatment of the manager and the assistant manager. They feel as they can talk to you anyhow and it is fine. Your paying your rent and should not ask for anything. They do not clean the breezeway as they use too. If you rent 601 please beware of the people upstairs. You will catch a case for them. They feel they are the only people living there. They throw food and anything else they want downstairs. Every time I write a review is the only way I get to get the manager attention. I call and she is not unavailable. You send emails and they never see it. Everyone who has been a long time residents have moved out. The price you will pay for white old appliances and things that have not been an upgrade in years. Everything is patched up to make a new one. If you move into apt 601 make sure you get everything new. Just know everything will have mold on it. When I was moving all my stuff had mold on it. I am also waiting for the manager to get back to me since June about the payment for the water damage. I called her June, August, and September. I still have not heard anything.

Terrible place to live

This apartment is NOT family oriented!!!! We can not even take our children to the pool without people fighting and cussing at each other, inappropriate dancing, a lot of alcohol consumed, obviously, every table is being taken over because a tenant here invites everyone in Atlanta to come party, music blaring with inappropriate language with every other word talking about sex and drugs. This is every single weekend! I know there have been several complaints and nothing has been done. A... gentleman who was at the pool, on a Sunday, went inside of the office and told the office manager, Amanda, said she can’t do anything because she is not in uniform and to complain the following day on Monday. It has gotten ridiculous and we have only been here for 2 months! TWO MONTHS!!!!! All of the loud, inappropriate music that goes on is all happening while the office manager, Amanda, is in the office. Thank God we signed a short lease. We will be out of here and I will never refer this place to anyone. The amount of money, which is very expensive, that we spend on living here makes me furious by putting up with the trash that is aloud here. If you have children do NOT move here!!!!

The office apparently isn’t open on Sunday, according to the office manager who is in there but the website says different.

Administrative Issues/ But Overall Nice Community

My wife and I enjoyed living here. The grounds are kept in good condition. The location is ideal for parents looking for a good school district. The community is safe (however there were a few cars broken in during our stint at the community.)The staff was courteous.

Our only concern with this community was the lack of training by the staff(Community Manager included) as it relates to the provisions of the lease. The lease provided that a failure to give 60 day's notice to vacate at the end of...
the lease term AUTOMATICALLY EXTENDS the lease on a month to month basis. That provision in itself is fine if it is applied correctly. However, the leasing office failed to provide my family with the required LEASE RENEWAL NOTICE and they never intended to automatically extend the lease after carefully reviewing documentation that they sent us after the 60 day period had elapsed. Only after the move out inspection was I told that my family had to pay about $711 for lack of 60 days notice. (Imagine our faces) I chose not to pay the fee. I am a lawyer by trade and chose to contest the fee. It was an arduous task contesting the fees, because the debt was sent to a collection agency prematurely.After showing the Apartment the error of their ways, the Apartment community closed the debt and gave us our rightful deposit amount.

I am compelled to rate this community with (1) star, because I am convinced that many unknowing families have suffered at the hands of this community's unwarranted fees and practices. There was no justification for the fees that the apartment sought to impose. I hope that I will bring attention to this issue. I would like to warn future tenants to beware. READ THE LEASE CAREFULLY AND MAKE THE LANDLORD COMPLY WITH IT.

The Columns At Paxton Lane

The columns at Paxton Lane located in the heart of Snellville. Anything you need from grocery stores, clothing stores, gas stations are surrounded by this location. The Columns at Paxton Lane is a small community with great neighbors. The staff at The Columns are very professional and are just a phone call away. Particularly, Christine. She greets everyone with a smile. Whether you are a new resident or lived here for years. She treats everyone the same. Christine even remembers the... residents by name, just not by unit #. It is a joy to stay here at the Columns at Paxton Lane.
