My child moved into the Gates Aug 2023 and shortly after, they lost the money order for the $610 that we paid for the move in fees. They acknowledged that they lost the money order, but the account balance shows that $610 is still owed. I talked to the office manager, and her boss Michelle as well, who refused to credit the account and was extremely unprofessional, not willing to acknowledge their mistake, or apologize for the ongoing issue. She even asked me if I had attempted to have the money... order replaced, which although we did try, it's not our responsibility to fix their mistake. This has been ongoing for 10 months with no resolution.
The apartments are not well maintained at all. My child's bedroom window is cracked, (broken glass) and has been broken for months, but has not been replaced or repaired. However, because the account shows a past due amount they promptly call every month asking for payment of the $610 THEY LOST.
Unless you are willing to deal with unprofessional management, getting the run around, or waiting an extended time to have repairs completed, I would highly recommend that you look elsewhere.
