We are in the Illinois medical district. Just minutes from Rush, Cook county, UIC and federal buildings . There are 5 buses within 1-2 blocks. Pink and blue line trains from .8 miles or 15 min walking. A bike divvy rental 3 blocks . Or free street... parking directly in front. We are in an ethnically diverse neighborhood and we love that. This is not a trendy downtown area this is a real neighborhood in a house built in 1880. It’s old and well loved. This our family home that will have our belongings left behind while you are here. The kitchen will have some food in it but we’ll leave the fridge clean minus condiments. It’ll be empty during your stay while we have a family trip. If you are looking for a hotel like , trendy , brand new and modern home this isn’t for you. We are friendly , would love to show you around when you arrive , we can take you grocery shopping , give you a short tour of the city… treat you like a friend . We want you to feel comfortable and happy while you are here , the way we feel happy in our home. It needs updates , cosmetic repairs etc but it’s affordable and comfortable!
