Nice location, good management staff, apartments have the ideal size! Wish closets were a little bigger, but nothing that stopped me from moving to this place. And I’m very grateful that I decided to stay!

I've been a resident of 1400 Wabash for about 3 weeks now and I must say that the all staff from maintenance, leasing to concierge have been extremely helpful and welcoming to me and my pup! I am new to city living (recently moving from the burbs) and the community has really made my transition very smooth. And the amenities are really nice! My favorite amenity would be the stunning rooftop terrace and resident lounge which I've already been utilizing quite a bit. So far so good - I am... absolutely loving the living here!

After almost living at 1400 Wabash for 8 months, I will say that if you like living with your neighbors, this is the place to be. You can hear every single conversation, baby cry, party, etc. through the vents and open windows. A lot of the times, your neighbors don't care how long they are being, and when you file a complaint, the leasing office doesn't care either. The front desk concierge is almost always nowhere to be found. It's either they aren't there, they're on their phone talking to... someone, or they just seem annoyed and bothered when you ask them something. Parking is a hassle too if you need a car to get around. People who aren't authorized to park on the premises will either park right outside in the driveway blocking entrance/exit points or they someone get into the parking garage and parking in someone's assigned parking lot. The office always threatens to have their cars towed, but nothing ever actually happens. And if you want to get awaken in the middle of the night to stomping, tapping, or movement of furniture being dragged by your upstairs neighbor, this is always the place for you. People who reside here do not care about their next-door neighbors or upstairs and downstairs neighbors. Again, the leasing office will tell you one thing, but nothing will actually happen unless you move to a different complex. Or just don't move here.

I will say on the plus side is having a convenient store and the red-line down the block, but it certainly does feel unsafe at all times of the day.

Not a luxury apartment

Doormen are always on their phones and let anyone in. Poor insulation of apartments so your heat bill will be high. Residents throw litter out the window and let their dogs poop in the building and don’t clean it up. The whole building smells like weed.
