Nice but could use impovement
As a single female I feel quite comfortable in the area, the apartment is pretty ok overall but there is definitely room for improvement.
Pros
Price is reasonable
Building super is the AMAZING (He really is always so personable and you can tell he really cares about keeping the building nice)
Close to the 22 and 36 bus stop
Close to Lincoln Park
Decent size for 1 person
CONS
-Non street facing apartment have almost no natural light (very depressing in the winter)
-You can see right into the... apartments on either side (blinds must be closed at all times, I have made eye contact the with the weird man in the building next door more times than I can count)
-You can hear everything! not only in our building but the building next door (to the point that I hear when they microwave things, sneeze, or especially have physical relations)
-No concealed storage so things always look cluttered
-There are two outdoor areas that could be really nice grilling areas but as on now it is just dead space one used for a bike rack
-The intercom system does not work so you can't buzz people in
-Not enough trash cans for all the tenants, always overflowing
-12 min walk to brown and purple line
