My Apartment

My apartment is a 1 bed, 1 bath and I've been living here for about 3 months now and I think it's an ok place but I know I could do better. I could definitely use any of the free rent just to catch up with bills and other things around the house for my kids. Or I could use a bigger place for my 2 kids and wife to be.

The Zoo

I moved in my apartment only 4 short months again. I am not originally from Chicago, IL so when I was shown the inside of the newly renovated apartment I wanted it! However what I didn't know is that I was moving in a very dangerous part of the city. (Englewood) After I moved in the courtyard like building being to fill about that's when things really took a turn for bad. I can hardly ever sleep with all the noise from the other tenates. Not to mention getting out my car and walking to my... apartment is gut grenching. I feel very unsafe. I plan to move soon but that itself is a big task for a full time student and mental health tech.
