If you’re nostalgic for the college dorm experience, this might be the place for you. I lived here for seven years and witnessed a noticeable decline in the overall atmosphere and caliber of tenants. What was once a building of mature, responsible residents gradually became home to a mix of young tenants with questionable standards of behavior. There were frequent disturbances—slamming doors, loud parties, and the sound of people running through the hallways at all hours. While affordable rent... in a desirable area often attracts a diverse range of people, it unfortunately led to a drop in the building’s overall quality. The rooftop deck, once a nice place to relax with friends, became less enjoyable after an encounter with a disrespectful young bro who bummed a $20 cigar, took 2 puffs then set it down and walked away. Very Charming 1 bd. apartment right in the heart of the Gold Coast. Good Value, off the beaten path, so no excessive street noise, and most importantly is has a charming Cafe/Wine bar right in the building that has been there for 30 years. It has an AMAZING roof top deck, exercise room, laundry, bike storage, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Apartments.com made it easy for me to find this place.
