Shady
Only good things I can say about living here is that Javier, the maintenance guy, was great. Place was quiet, outside was maintained well. A lot of negatives. Place was drafty and outdated. Also, don't expect much of your security deposit back. I was charged for multiple "damages" that were there when I moved in, including carpet cleaning because of "pet stains" (which carpet cleaning should be standard between tenants?? And what happens to the $250 non-refundable pet deposit and $30 extra... dollars a month pet rent? ). My dog never peed in the apartment and pictures of the supposed stained areas weren't even "pet stains", they were high traffic areas which is considered normal wear and tear because I never wore shoes in my apartment. The oven had years of buildup inside that I couldn't even get off with a razor blade but I was charged for that. Tub had a weird stain on the bottom of it and I tried multiple times to remove it, I couldn't and was charged for it even though that was there when I moved in. They don't even have proof of the items not being damaged before I moved in. So make sure to do a thorough walk through, take pictures and note any damage before moving in. Pretty shady, in my opinion.

Katherine,
Highland Springs takes pride in our community and our valued residents. Over 75% of our residents are long term, just as you who have lived here multiple years. All the move out charges are in accordance with your signed lease. I have... over 20 pictures of the damages/cleaning charges and the condition you left your apartment in. All pet fees are standard to everyone in the community. If you had any problems with your unit while you lived here, you should have called the office to make a maintenance call, not ignore it until you moved out. We respond to all maintenance calls within 24 hours.
We wish you the best.
