You can find better.

Convenient location and it's nice having a Kroger in the building; however, dealing with maintenance issues is constant and the leasing manager is extremely condescending. Everything was nice in the beginning, and it has quickly gone downhill. For being a "luxury" apartment maintenance (except for Cliff- he's the best) and dealing with management is subpar at best.

Axis Apartments In Downtown Indianapolis is Horrible

Axis Apartments has got to be one of the worst so called luxury apartment complexes in the Indianapolis IN area. It is very poorly run and Axis Management is uncaring, greedy and incompetent. When appliances in your apartment break down, the incompetent staff is unable to repair them. The building on top of a Kroger supermarket is infested with homeless people who camp outside begging for money and get inside the building to sleep. Axis/ Flaherty & Collins Management are extremely greedy and... take advantage of residents with various fees constantly. Stay far away from this dump!

Excellent Apartment with Affordable Price in Downtown

5 star is not enough to show how much I am happy and safe with Axis apartment. I love this apartment because the location is center of downtown and very beautifully architectured. I have lived in many state and always myself and my parents have issue with safety but in this 2 years living in this apartment made us feel so safe and gave the piece of mind. The best part of this apartment is common area is well maintained, excellent amenities ( Gym , yoga room , conference room , roof top ,... laundry, game area , covered parking ) , experienced maintenance team who respond in no time, Kroger is just below the apartment where you can shop and bring the cart to the apartment to unload( best part ). The entire Management is very kind , always smiling and keep the positivity approach, I would especially thank Stefani , Kaila and entire management for making me feel safe , secure and taking care of me.If you are looking for an apartment in Indianapolis downtown just close your eyes and get into Axis apartment to experience Luxury hospitality and safe living . I would strongly recommend this apartment to my family and friends

Look elsewhere

Currently writing this review hearing the non-stop knocking of construction within the apartment, which per the landlord will be going on for weeks. They have zero sympathy for you and not least the courtesy to let you know in advance. If I had the chance to start over and choose an apartment to live at, I would NOT choose this place. The elevator doesn't work at least once every week. True, there's a Kroger on the first floor but I did not realize what a liability that could be given how much... it attracts homeless people to the curb outside your balcony. They have a lot of little rules about leaving your garbage bin outside your door after certain hours because it "[detracts from their image] as a luxury apartment" and about signing liability forms so that you don't sue them if you get sick by using their gym or their swimming pool, so that should tell you the nature of the management here. I'm sure they'll reply to this comment and ask me to contact them to go over my feedback but this is true honest feedback from a long-term resident here, do not live here.

Over priced and not that nice

The apartments have a convenient location however the price tag comes along with it. Management does host events each month which is nice, but still does not add up to how much you pay. My biggest issues was with move in did not go smoothly, the office did not clearly communicate instructions. It took us longer because the complex is so hard to navigate. Each floor is set up so different and the signs at the elevator are not updated or helpful. Be prepared to get lost a few times before you find... your unit.
