Highly not recommended
Whatever you do, DO NOT rent from Stallard and Associates. You get what you pay for- they do not plow the snow. (Last winter there were a few times where I couldn't get out of the parking lot for about 2 hours because the snow was too much. Which made me extremely late to work for 2 days)
Their AC units break constantly, the buildings are really old so you will hear about everything from your neighbors, and management will not care about your situation if you're in a struggle- they will try to... suck any money out of you.
And addition to all that, the apartments are also filled with shady people, the floors are extremely squeaky, maintenence seem to take their time to fix certain thing, the apartments have poor management. The list goes one...as a decent human being, please take all this into consideration before submitting an application.

You Get What You Pay For
Nola Court is a very cheap place to live, and that being said, you get what you pay for. The street is generally a quiet one, which is nice. The buildings are old, but get the job done...there is plenty of space in most of the units. When we had maintenance issues, the Stallard crew was quick to respond.
That being said, the buildings are very old, dirty, and smelly. Stallard cleans them up very well before you move in, but old buildings like this won't stay clean, even if you attempt to... clean everyday. The smell of animals that have lived here over the years leak through the floor and the walls. The floors are so old and out of shape that they creak anywhere you take a step. Finally, it has been painted over so many times that some doors won't even shut because they need to be sanded down.
Nola Court is a mixed-bag of good and bad. The smells and cleanliness are terrible. The price is good and the location is decent.

A must see
I've lived at Nola Court apartments for 3 years now. I enjoy the short commute to broad ripple and downtown. The apartments are a great size. Everyone seems so nice and friendly. I've met some great people. Anytime you have an issue, they've always came right away. I don't have any complaints about living here. This is the reason I have yet to move. I just recently referrd a friend to move into a 1 bedroom apartment and she's pretty excited about it. I hope everyone has had a great experience... like I have.
