This place doesn’t deserve a full star!
Worst apartment ever, roach problems, and the management isn’t better either. If you decide to live here, make sure to take lots of pictures on moving day and when you move out, because they will charge you for things that are not even broken or say you didn’t clean the apartment before turning your keys.

DO NOT live here
Worst place I have ever lived. They have a TERRIBLE pest problem (mice and roaches). Maintenance has no idea what they are doing and show up whenever they want. The staff is very unprofessional and will either get an attitude with you or play innocent when you report a problem. They act surprised when you have a problem, but leaking sewage, gas/air problems, roaches, and mice are very common. Very sketchy complex. There is very poor communication between staff members, as well as between staff... and tenants. You will get an eviction notice at least once, even if you never missed a payment and they were all paid on time. Save yourself the headache and your safety and live anywhere but here.

Do not live here.
I was extremely disappointed with my stay at brickyard flats. It is right by the 465 so it is very noisy at all hours. Children run around uncontrolled in the hallways, banging on doors and walls and leaving trash everywhere. Staff in the office are unprofessional and rude to say the least. There are plenty of parking spaces, but beware you will get towed if you don't park in the proper areas. The unit was completely infested with roaches. Yes pest control would come and spray, and the roaches... would run through the walls into another unit, until residences in that unit requested pest control and the roaches would run right back to our unit. There were also mice that found their way in. I requested the cabinets to be sealed up properly, and maintenance came in and placed tape over the areas around floorboards/cabinets that were not properly sealed off. They then spray painted the tape to make it blend in with the cabinets. If you live at brickyard flats, that is how your issues will be fixed. Simply covered up. Until management begins actually fixing underlying problems, these apartments are almost unsafe to live in. We also had many leaks during our year living here. The kitchen sink piping leaked in the cabinets, it was a slow leak that was not obvious until water damage was done to the unit under the floorboards. Nothing was done to look into the extent of damage or fix it. The toilet sprung a leak at the base, and we had to have it replaced. Multiple times I would also enter the building to find that it was flooded with water by where the washer and dryer units were. That was an electrical hazard with the water flooding the appliances. The leak was stopped, but again there was no evidence of maintenance looking into the issue further. I would not suggest anyone ever live here unless these buildings are stripped completely and all of the hidden issues are actually looked into.

Do. Not. Live. Here.
People at the office are welcoming and nice BUT not the woman that owns the place. I lived there last year (2015-2016) and i got placed in a 1 bedroom apartment basement level which was nice at first but i began noticing several flaws; several big black beetles started coming in, fleas galore which they charged me to pay for to bomb it with 6 cans (disgusting), whoever lived there before me and before them and before them never maintained the air filter which was CAKED in dust and hair and etc... (Filthy!!), the carpet already had stains in it from water damage which again i was charged for to replace carpetting, i was pregnant living here and i have to say this is NOT repeat.. NOT a place to have your children. Period. Very very unsafe area. Gunshots, breaking and entry's, things stolen, outdoor closets and locks all broken open and again things stolen, their brand new washers and dryers hardly work. Please i beg anyone to please not live here not even out of desperation. Put this apartment out of business.

Someone needs to investigate this place for money laundering.this place is horrible.they don't have a reliable maintenance team and the staff is horrible.my home flooded 6 times and they didn't have any one come fix it till they were ready.halfway houses are better than these apartments. Money orders come up missing and even with a receipt they still want you to pay rent or threaten you with eviction. The outside looks a lot better than the inside. They put more effort in what the outside looks... like other than the major problems in the inside... INVESTIGATE
