Horrible

We will NEVER live in a PB community ever again. They entered our apartment with out notice, and took photos of the “mess” without our consent or knowledge until after the fact. They then gave us two days to fix the “problem” or they would look into the eviction process. As tenants, we are entitled to a right to privacy and to be able to live in our apartment with our things. I would have understood if there were bugs, or the apartment smelled and was bothering other tenants. This was NOT the... case, it was just clutter. Not a single bug or anything smelly in site. We both work full time, and have health problems that make it hard to keep up with their “magazine home” expectations. They then came back after we cleaned up, and said I had to fix a Costco pack of paper towels I bought THAT DAY was sitting on the floor by the kitchen table. It took them 6 months to fix our air conditioner. It broke 3 times in 3 months because instead of fixing it, they would put a bandage on the true problem. Then, because it was almost winter (Oct2023), they said they would fix it in the spring, at latest April 2024. I called multiple times over Mar and Apr and asked for an update. They did not fix it until May 2024. They also enacted a trash service in an enclosed secure building. They have us put the trash cans in front of the doors into the hall, which is a fire safety hazard should we need to evacuate. Also, it makes the hallways REEK of garbage. But our clutter was the problem?
I posted this review on the BBB website, and their response is a flat out lie. They said the notice was a “request” for clean up so we didn’t get rodents or bugs, which was not a problem and would not be a problem as there was no trash. It was not a request, it said they were giving us two days to fix it, or there would be consequences. They also didn’t acknowledge that they didn’t fix the AC until after the promised time, just that they provided a “reasonable” alternative, which was a portable unit. This unit did not provide enough cooling for the whole apartment at all. They also completely ignored the part about their trash service making the hallways reek, as well as the requirement for having the trash be in front of the door an evacuation hazard, but said my clutter was a evacuation hazard. They also didn’t acknowledge the fact that they were upset that my recently purchased paper towels were “a problem.” Do not move here. It isn’t worth the time, or the ridiculous price they charge.

Shady Staff, Poor Communication

Staff had poor communication during our lease and as we were ending it. Lease apparently required 60 day notice but staffing office sent a reminder at 30 and required a formal letter.

We suffered during a flood and management had very little follow through when it was time to fix the damages. As a first time renter there were times I felt talked-down to and disrespected. Also rent kept raising making it no longer worth the price.

Excellent property

My wife and I have lived at the Claremont for going on 5 years after selling our house. We find that it is well maintained and has an excellent, responsive staff. The maintenance issues that arise from time to time are resolved promptly - generally in a day. We appreciate the amenities that support our lifestyle which include underground parking, indoor trash chutes, indoor mailroom, easily accessible storage closet, and indoor as well as outdoor pools. All of this is in a great location... which provides us convenient access to our activities and errands. We would highly recommend the Claremont.

Amazing Staff, Quiet Apartments

From the moment I first walked into the property the staff have been very friendly and helpful. Now it did take two months for me to get the apartment I wanted, but they kept in contact throughout the whole process. I had some issues with my rent checks that the Assistant Manager helped walk me through (Be careful late fees are high). It’s been a pleasant experience. Also, be aware that there are concrete walls here. I’ve never heard my neighbors and they say they haven’t heard me. I appreciate... that peace. Also, the apartments are reasonably priced. I would recommend the apartments to anyone.

They entered without giving notice, poor maintenance

The Claremont sent someone into my apartment without giving notice. Maintenance is poor at best.
