About The Elias Apartments
In 1806 Elias Beauregard set out to establish Baton Rouge’s second neighborhood. What he created was a masterfully designed neighborhood with diagonal streets radiating from a central plaza, named for the prominent European rulers; Napoleon,... Maximillian, Somerulos, Grandpre, Ferdinand, and Louis. Today, Beauregard Town is a well preserved jewel, harboring the city’s last remaining architectural examples of 19th and early 20th century. The Elias attempts to connect the old world with modern conveniences by a meticulously designed exterior and spacious floor plans featuring warm yet contemporary finishes. Residents can choose balcony units, that have expansive views of Beauregard Town, or ground level apartments with private patios. Every floor plan seeks to connect residents with the community, to be a part of history, and create it for the future. The location is one of Baton Rouge’s truly walkable communities with a bevy of shopping, dining, and nightlife options a quarter mile from The Elias. The vibrant culture of Downtown is a short walk away making for a live work experience. We invite you to come see The Elias for yourself and share Elias Beauregard’s vision for Baton Rouge.

Great Building!
I love the small town feel in downtown and the management is attentive.

Cheap mindset. Pricing SKYROCKETING.
This building has had a major termite infestation in addition to flooding in 2019. They've had to replace flooring due to the severity. This symbolizes the cheap mindset that has plagued this apartment. Termites would not have occurred had they paid for termite and pest control in the first place. Floors and walls are very thin, and rent has increased an obscene amount. Insanity.
Dog poo all around the complex (sidewalks!), dog pee found inside several times. Sometimes it is cleaned up.... Stairwells are dirty.
I moved here to try and "price out" undesirably behaving tenants I experienced in apartments' past, but it was no use. Halls smell like weed some times, hearing upstairs/next-door neighbors due to a combo of noisiness and poor sound insulation is common.
I don't think it is possible to rent a "good" apartment in Baton Rouge, at this point.
Plusses? Free internet, two whole treadmills, and a stationary bike. Small complex, apartments look quite nice. The neighborhood is quite nice, get to know the neighbors and you'll eventually get to see pictures they took of the flooding.
Additional thoughts? Don't park near the front door when it rains, lest you risk your car being flooded. I've seen this happen to two cars. Also, SILVERFISH. Had a few articles of clothing damaged by them.
I would not move in here again, if I had the knowledge I do now.

Horrible Apartment Complex
Lived there for a little while as they kept moving me from apartment to apartment, also knew the owner as he wanted the company I worked for to give him discounts on building supplies for a bigger apartment and when I refused he told me you have to this weekend to move. There was no YMCA membership the property manager told me about, also water damage in the apartment as well. The walls are paper-thin, if you walk too hard the property manager will issue you a warning. The camera's don't work as... they advertised security. The manager holds her own parties in the apartments for herself and her friends regardless of how loud they are. Horrible place to live, people smoke weed, elevators don't always work, keyfob is always broken.

Great Apartments
I recently moved to Baton Rouge for work and wanted an upscale apartment to live in. I decided on the Elias because it was brand new, modern, and had all brand new appliances. Courtney the leasing agent made everything so easy and was extremely helpful with guiding me through the process even though I was out of town. Since living here, the staff has been amazing and very helpful with any issues or needs. The Elias is only a 5 minute walk to downtown and 5-10 minute drive from all of the major... grocery stores and shopping. I did have an issue with my first unit where I could hear my neighbors next door but Courtney let me choose another apartment in the building and the problem was solved. I recommend these apartments to anyone working downtown and enjoys a higher standard of living.

Worst Apartment in Baton Rouge
Everything they offer they really don't have, as they let people into apartments without your knowledge as well. The apartments are build with thin walls and no amentities, flooring issues, cheap front bathroom door locks as well. Bikes are put together poorly and the property manager lies to get you to live there. Bad place to live, as they say beautiful on outside but crappy on the inside. Could not pay me enough to live there!
