I resided in these apartments from May 2020 to February 2021 in apartment #1022, back when the property was managed by a different company. In February that year, I left my lease a bit early due to relocating to another state. The previous management was understanding and helped me navigate the lease termination process, including the reletting fee. However, my experience changed when there was a turnover in assistant managers around October 2023.
Unfortunately, without any prior communication,... they sent my case to collections for an alleged unpaid reletting fee, despite my having evidence of payment. I've reached out to them for documentation supporting their claim, but it's been over two weeks without a response. Communication with the assistant manager has been challenging, and obtaining the requested documentation has proven even more difficult.
As a result, I'm now in a dispute with the collections agency, which is impacting my ability to secure a new rental apartment. The lack of communication and documentation from the apartment complex has created unnecessary stress and obstacles in resolving this issue.
I would not choose to live here again if it were the last place available on earth.
