XLVII West Elm Apartments

The 5 star reviews of this building are not accurate!! First off, the ventilation system in each unit blows VERY LOUD, cold air for 15 minutes every hour, every day, winter and summer! And it can not be shut off! Unless you will not be home most of the time that fan will drive you crazy and no the management will not warn you of that. Maybe when the building first opened it was clean but now its mice and cockroach infested. And you will meet the exterminator that will tell you to put him on... speed dial. Massive gap under the front door so all the critters, smell of marijuana and other people's food will enter your unit. There is constant construction outside of the building and the city will shut off the water without notice and the leasing office definitely wont tell you either. The package locker is outside of the building so yes your package will be on the sidewalk most days. No automatic doors so good luck with groceries and moving. JUST DON'T DO IT! Read More

47 West Elm Street Apartments are a great place to live. We are a professional couple and appreciate living in this safe and technologically advanced apartment home. Not only are the units and grounds well maintained with friendly maintenance staff, but the owner and front office also are hands-on, flexible, and quick to respond to our wants, needs, and concerns.

Only one parking spot per unit so if you live with someone else who has a vehicle, then they’re lucked out. The surrounding area is not the greatest. The apartment itself is nice & modern.

This was a very clean apartment with responsive management. The storage units on each floor were so accessible and convenient. My only complaint was that we paid extra for covered parking but our car was 3/4 exposed because of where our spot was in the garage. Otherwise, we had a great experience.

I lived here in a 1b 1b with my girlfriend for the last year and we really liked it. Whenever we had an issue they would have a maintenance worker there on the same day typically, and they were very responsive to emails - especially compared to past places I have lived. If you don't mind taking the commuter rail into Boston it is a perfect spot as well, only about an 8 minute walk. We would have stayed one more year but ended up finding a place all the way in downtown Boston.
