DO NOT BOTHER

If I could give it no stars I would, I scheduled a tour for a specific day and a specific time - recieved 5 follow up emails and text messages to confirm and upon arrival nobody was even there. When tried to contact the phone number provided it just kept ringing until eventually disconnected several times. I waited for 20 minutes beyond my tour time and still had not heard from anybody. A complete waste of your time for a less than average looking apartment. The balconies look like they’re... caving in and can’t support the weight of more than one person.

Mold in bathroom, lousy management, leaks in backdoor, pests in kitchen and DISGUSTING laundry.

Trash build up - Management doesn't care

I'm a current resident living here and its honestly the worse place I have ever lived. There is a huge pile of trash that builds up every week to the point that skunks go through it at night. Asking management to take care of it gets you immediate attitude saying that its the tenant's fault for not being able to throw away trash when its full. It laughable because maintenance threw out a fridge that's still near the dumpster.

Stay away or you'll regret giving these people your money.

Too many (-) things to say that I can't even list them all...

It would be impossible for me to describe how many things I could say that are less than ideal about this property. Just to give a sense of SOME of the BS: (1) although Cabot Crossing is a smoking property, it is not legal for residents to smoke inside their apartments. You guessed it! Tons of residents smoke inside their apartments (like chain smoke) and despite notifying management, they do nothing about it. If you don't smoke yourself, I highly recommend living elsewhere. My neighbors... directly below me on the 2nd floor smoked ALL day EVERY day. Even with my window shut, it trickled up into every corner of my apartment-in the bathroom, underneath my sinks in the piping, through the vents, etc. Anytime, I had my window open during warmer/fall months, it wouldn't last long b/c the smoke would infiltrate my apartment (the residents also smoked on their balcony, which traveled upward and would draft directly into my apartment).(2) My AC unit was not working during one of the first heat waves of this past summer, so I submitted a maintenance ticket for the workers to remove the cover lining the outside of my AC unit (I was on the 3rd floor with no balcony so was unable to reach it by myself like other residents with balconies who could do it on their own). Eventually one of my resident friends climbed out of my window onto the roof (what a hazard!) to do it for me b/c it had been days of sitting in a 90+ degree apt for me and my dog. (3) Pipes burst due to freezing in the winter b/c an angry ex-resident left his water running & sliding door open on one of the coldest days in Feb. following when he was asked to vacate, so there was flooding throughout the first floor of the building & we were all asked to evacuate when the fire dept. arrived in the wee hours of the morning.(4) For the vast majority of my stay at Cabot, NO ONE picked up the phone or responded to email. Sometimes I genuinely wondered why they even bothered having staff on site. What were they actually doing all day long? There was also constant staff turnover, which I don't think needs further explaining. Thankfully (and ironically relatively close to my move out date), now Cabot has hired two new staff-- a manager and assistant-- who are MUCH more responsive than any staff I have ever seen. They are doing their best, all things considered. I honestly feel bad for them because I'm sure there are so many angry and unheard residents.(5) haven't gotten my security deposit back and it's been 30+days
