HORROR STORY. BEWARE.
Horror Story. I could NEVER in good conscience recommend the Jayden apartments.
Remember this when renting apartments: good property management companies treat you like a paying customer and want to make your life better. Bad property management companies treat you like the enemy, the problem and take no accountability. It’s my firm opinion that Fairfield Residential is a bad property management company. The unit that we rented was misrepresented, and the property management company has been... nothing to make the situation right. I even spoke to employees at the executive level who could care less. They doubled down on the poor conditions in the unit and made us feel like we were the problem for reporting them. This company is rotten to the core and the poor standards are set from the top.
I wish honest reviews had been posted before we moved into this horrendous property. It’s NOT suitable for living. There is no mail room and there is only one set of dumpsters for this massive complex. Nothing was thought through and it is horribly managed.
The property manager is very difficult to get in touch with. Leasing staff are always available because this place only cares about getting your money. They want you in the door and then they throw you away like trash after you move in. The service you get when touring a unit is the complete opposite level of service you get once you sign your lease.
We moved in a week ago. It’s been horrible. Our master closet collapsed today damaging furniture and other items. It was not installed property and only had clothes hanging on it. We were told that the improper closet installation should be handled by OUR RENTERS INSURANCE. How outrageous. This company takes no accountability and forces financial burden on the tenant, even when they’re clearly at fault.
There is water damage surrounding our exterior balcony door and there was no weatherstripping so you can see daylight. Our unit also smell smells of marijuana all the time because people smoke in their units. We can hear residents next-door talking and every word from any song they listen to. No soundproofing was done here whatsoever. Cabinet doors fall off their hinges, and our floors have huge chunks taken out of them and dents. The windows can’t even open because they weren’t framed properly and you have to pull so hard. We are afraid we are going to break the glass just by trying to open some of the windows.
I cannot advise enough how bad of a property this is and
