Great place to live!
My best friend and I lived at Bradley View for almost 2 years between 2012 and 2014 and loved it. Our two bedroom apartment was very spacious (over 1000 square feet) with a huge living room and very comfortable kitchen. We had a dishwasher, a nice fridge, gas oven and garbage disposal. I understand that they have now redone all the kitchens to include nicer counter tops and stainless steel appliances. The bathroom was small but nice. The bedrooms were huge. The apartment had beautiful hardwood... floors and a lot of closet space (one closet in each room, plus a linen closet, a coat closet and a walk in closet in between the rooms). We loved the management and both agreed that the resident manager is the best one we have ever had in 7 years living in DC. In fact, the elevator was broken when we moved in so the manager personally helped us move. Whenever something broke (which was not often), management would immediately come to repair it--we just had a clogged bathtub a few times, and some issue with a leaky faucet. The rent was more than reasonable for the space and location. Fifteen minute walk from the metro and close to Trader Joes, CVS, restaurants and bars. The only one thing I didn't like was that we had to cover 80% of the beautiful hard floors with rugs. Management insisted on this for the sake of the neighbors downstairs. We even put one inch padding under the rugs to act as buffer for the noise. I would recommend this place to my friends, and would definitely consider renting from them again.
