I struggle with the ratings as I've lived here just over 5 years. It was centrally located near everything I needed to be close to.
The apartments are very nice and spacious. Rebecca was great as a property manager but numerous office staff turn over. The facility staff is great, they are quick to attend to your needs.
There is a train station directly across the street from the building so along with the growing noise in the area, and many bars, the trains run all hours of the day and night... which is annoying.
Though out the years, crime rose within the building, apartments have been broken in and in the garage cars have been stolen or broken into. At one point, there were people checking to see if doors were left unlocked so get in. Due to the updates to the doors that has helped. Another upgrade to the apartments is that you no longer have carpets on the floor so the noise level of the tenants is hard to deal with.
Often times there are homeless men living in the hallway, common area and stairwell. There are no cameras in the building, and a security guard in which you never really see and if you do he is chillin in his car playing his music.
Do know this is a pet friendly property so there are some neighbors who are not good with picking up the poop. The grounds are kept clean for the most part but the building is also used as an AirBNB. The cleaning crew is short staffed so garbage is often left in the hallways, stairwells and throughout the garage.
For the amount of money you are paying for it is really not worth it.
