I’ve been trying to get in contact with someone to schedule a tour for a week now, still not even one response, no one ever answers. I've called at least 20 times, tried to schedule a tour at least 12 times. It’s really frustrating because the apartments look very nice and I would love to give this place an opportunity but they are making it hard. I see that this has always been an issue from the reviews from 2019. It’s sad that they still haven’t put forth an effort to have better customer... service. Why is answering the phone such a difficult task? I hate writing bad reviews but this may be the only way I get their attention.

The lease office has a lot to be desired. The property is nice, quiet and a nice structure to live in. However, if you need anything from the lease office....forget it, it is truly hit or miss. And that goes for maintenance too! In the year and 8 mos, I've been here, there have been at least 4 different office managers. The best one they had was a temp (Amber)
Answering the phones has always been an issue. I've called from my residence on the first floor and get no answer. Walk down and... there she sits. The security call box number is given to select tenants and doesn't work on all boxes (nice security...when being chased and need access) Parking - OMG, I don't drive, but I hear tenants complain all the time. If you are not home by 6pm (sometimes 7pm) you can forget a parking space close to the building. Try 2 buildings over and walk up a hill with groceries in the rain a few times and you'll understand. Parking is simply horrible.
If you can deal with the lease office, it is a wonderful place. Otherwise, do yourself a favor, move on. Only reason I haven't is because of the income restriction, my age and I don't have the help.
Feel stuck

I was interested in this apartment and called to the lease office to talk to the staff about the availability of their units, they never ever answer their calls.
I even left several voicemails and never got a call back. Worst staff ever, I wonder how they might treat their tenants when some emergency or maintenance issue happens.

Have you ever stepped into your apartment and wondered how many miscreants peed in your toilet before you? Sure you have. Now, have you ever stepped into your apartment and wondered if the army had ever amputated some poor man's leg in your living room? Any takers? No one? Well, I can honestly say, that thought has crossed my mind. My apartment is located on the historic and beautiful property of National Park Seminary, located in Silver Spring, Maryland. For the sake of not sounding like a... segment on the History Channel, I will spare you all the fine details of the property throughout the years, but I will tell you it has been around for a while. The original infrastructure was built in 1887 as a summer getaway for all the vacationers ready to get crazy in the Silver Spring area. It was later turned into an all girl's school and then taken over by the Army, as a hospital complex for soldiers returning from the second World War (hence the allusion to medical procedures at the beginning of my review). But enough about the history of this place, let's focus on the more important matter, my wonderful 650 square foot apartment. While walking through the corridors of the building you are surrounded by wooden arches and molding, true to the original 1800's infrastructure. You enter my apartment and the first thing you notice are the high ceilings adorned with coffers throughout the top (go ahead and google that, I'll wait). Your eyes return down the wall to the huge historic windows, which not only let in sunlight, but also a great view of the surrounding historic buildings. I have the pleasure of viewing the historic gymnasium, and courtyard which have historic statues scattered about. Did I mention all the historic items yet? To sum up this review, my apartment is truly a breath of fresh air from the vapid concrete quarters people rest their little heads in. Come take a look, but tread lightly; the ghosts tend to be grumpy.
