Loved Living there.

I loved living there. A great location. However, beware they will clean your wallet on move out! I lived there for 16 months with my son and my lease expired in June 2020. During this pandemic I thought I did the right thing and signed a 3 month lease adding another $ to my rent. As my son was figuring out collage. After the three months I went month to month. It didn't matter! They took my deposit! Looking back I should have signed a new year lease because the results were the same. ... Except I paid a premium for four months. I was trying to be honest with them and they don't care. Now that I moved out they sent me $289.43 bill.

Nice Building Run By Incompetent Employees

I do not recommend living here at all. ArenaPlace is the first upscale/modern property by DTN Management and it shows. The leasing office is unorganized and extremely disfunctional. If you do live here, make sure you save every receipt, and get everything in writing. The leasing office may not purposely try to take money from you, however nothing is organized or saved so it’s up to you to keep track. You will pay $125 to park in a public ramp with unassigned parking. That means everytime there... is a concert or sporting event at the Van Andel, you will have to share parking. This may not seem like an inconvenience, however it will be when drunk people are able to access all floors of the building (you share the same elevator). The portal also does not give you a clear picture on what your charges actually are. The “make a payment” page does not calculate what you actually owe. You need to go to the “recent activity” page to see what you’re actually being charged. Once you figure that out, then you have to go back to the “make a payment” tab and manually enter the amount in without also accepting the incorrect charges listed on there as welll. Being right downtown is an awesome place to be by being so close to everything, but this also makes for a party magnet. Be prepared to hear loud parties and people drinking Thursday through Sunday, especially if you live anywhere near the club house on the top floors. The TV’s in the gym are always broken and rarely work. Unfortunately Arena Place is a bit behind when it comes to deliveries for their tenants. If you get a package delivered, you will need to pick it up during office hours. If you get home from work late, or if the office does not feel like staying open, you will have to wait until Saturday morning. There is not any onsite security available so if there is an issue you’re relying on GRPD, which can be very busy. When I first moved into Arena Place there was a party in the club room that had roughly 100 people, and they screamed and drank until 4:30 am. It was so loud I could hear them in the hallway, two floors down. The staff will tell you to call and leave a voicemail for an “onsite manager” (who doesn’t live onsite anymore) to come and resolve the issue. I can confirm, when you call and need help, no one will come. Don’t waste your money here. The location is great but it is NOT worth all of the trouble you will have. Trust me
