bugs bugs bugs flying ants

If you are considering renting here let me mention there are lots of bugs here. I am on the ground floor and there has been a constant parade of ants stink bugs spiders etc. never have I ever spent so much of my time and money on bug sprays, cleaning supplies and making sure my apartment is clean so as not to attract the insects. Once again I am dealing with Flying Ants in my kitchen. I’m my opinion I would not recommend this property.

Older Building Quiet Neighborhood

I've lived at this apartment complex for almost 3 years. The complex is quiet and private. The staff and maintenance are responsive and fix or replace things quickly. My biggest issue is how outdated everything is. The garages and side walks are in bad repair, apartments are very outdated unless your appliance broke previously, expect to have 20+ year old appliances (at least they look that way). The landscaping is non existent and if they can't keep grass growing there is rocks there instead....

The apartments are pretty spacious and the price is good for the area but they are definitely lagging behind other properties in renovations.

Nope

Get what you pay for in comparison to other establishments in the area. Appliances and living space is old and outdated. Cabinetry is old and feels like it is going to break at any moment and many drawers did. When requisitioned to fix broken drawers the maintenance team simply used cheap wood glue that ultimately failed after a few weeks and the problem persisted as they refused to actually fix anything. The walls are very thin and you can hear everything going on next to you and above you at... all times. There is no enforcement of smoking policies as many people smoked on their patios and the smell was constant in neighboring apartments. There are bug problems because doors and windows don't fully close and the screens all have holes in them and are not replaced. Wall unit air conditioners are loud and moderately functional and not energy conscious at all. The security doors work too well as residents cannot even use their keys to get into them without being very precise with the locks in the chamber so you cannot carry things in and expect to be able to open the door. They will shut the water off in entire buildings with short or no notice. Water does not get hot in the mornings or in the winter. Claim that cars need to be moved in order for snow to be plowed in the winter yet throughout the work hours when cars are all moved no plow comes and the result is an ice rink parking lot. Upon move out they fought over the deposits and demanded even more money be paid in for cleaning that clearly was not done prior to our move in, which all just feels like a scam to make more profit without doing anything. Overall, just not a place you want to live for any amount of time despite trying to undercut the competitors on price.

Old, dirty, lots of insects.

PROS: Management and maintenance are very responsive, accessible, and professional, and the grounds are beautifully kept CONS: Apartments are extremely old. Lived on bottom floor and had TONS of insects year-round. Little ant hills would appear every couple days. The shower would get scalding hot every time someone else (in your apartment or anyone else's) flushed the toilet. Appliances are old; the oven doesn't even let you know when it's done preheating.

Siren means Shadow Green Apt.

Shadow Green is a great place to call home.The entire stuff always
greet you with a smile and are very helpful to our needs, and are quick to attend to any problems that arise. The grounds and facilities are kept clean everyday by friendly courteous workers. The workout rooms are opened 24/7 and are rarely crowded and the pool area is lovely. My parents love the convenience of the parking garage.I live with my parents and could not feel safer anywhere else. Shadow Green, a beautiful...
