Terrible living environment

Probably one of the worst investments St Cloud has ever made in it’s downtown. If it had a thriving downtown it would be one thing to live in here St Cloud. However with the downtown actively dying before your eyes, definitely consider living elsewhere.

One of the biggest factors regards the noise. You have to be an exceptionally sound sleeper because between the college kids and the drag races, if you aren’t, you will not sleep. I’ve lived in downtown areas before but I’ve never once been a...
situation with quite this much noise. The route the college kids take from their favorite bar on the way home passes directly by the complex. At two AM they promenade past, screeching and hollering. If it was an uncommon thing, maybe you could deal with it but it is most nights once the weather is acceptable enough to be outside. Between this and the issues noted in many other reviews, you would pay WAY too much to live in such circumstances in downtown ST CLOUD of all places. What a joke.

Poor living environment

The apartments themselves are very nice, but you really don't want to live here. It's the common case of a few bad apples ruining a place for everyone, but for the price you can afford to live somewhere else.

This complex has had multiple issues in my residency regarding may of which are inflicted by the individuals they have elected to rent to. The garbage room is constantly littered with trash from people failing to bag trash appropriately. The common areas, especially the elevator...
frequent reek of smoke, weed, or even trash. That is not to mention that the only truly nice amenity, the garbage chute, is commonly shut down due to people not using it appropriately which leads to the aforementioned garbage smell as trash bags leak while people transport them down. The rooftop area, though it seems nice is pretty much unusable due to the wind as the surrounding walls aren't quite high enough and the design turns it into a wind tunnel. That is not to mention the dog owners of the complex will commonly allow their dogs to pee anywhere on the roof. There is a designated dog area, but I have been witness to multiple occasions in which a dog will run out and immediately start peeing in the fake grass in the lounging area. It's not really the dogs' fault, but it's still pretty disgusting. Though the insulation is relatively good, the high volume of dog owners leads to at least one dog on each floor that barks pretty much non-stop. Admittedly that makes it a good complex for dog owners as the management really can't/won't do anything about any noise complaints. That is beside the point that if you own a dog, there are multiple aggressive dogs in the complex. The offering of exercise equipment in paltry compared to any similar complex. Their mail management system consists of packages being left in the entry way room, and for unclear reasons, residents will commonly fail to pick up packages from Hello Fresh, leaving rotting food sitting in the mail area for weeks at a time.

I don't know how much the management company can really do about any of this, but you really don't want to live here in it's current state.
