Great at first
Realistically the only complaint I have is the fact that there will no longer be permit-less parking as of the 1st of the year. Open guest parking was the main deciding factor of choosing Midland last year when I moved in. Initially, I could have my partner, family and friends over when ever and park in front of my patio (still leaving plenty of spots open for my neighbors and their guests). Now I have to worry about getting temp parking passes for my guests ahead of time and during office hours... that does not align with my work schedule. Towing fees are not cheap.
Other than the parking situation, Its an OK apartment complex. Better area than Saint Paul and the rest of the inner city. The apartment itself is OK. Older kitchen modeling and older carpet. Definitely gives the basics which is what I can afford and am OK with. Its the "cheaper" option between the surrounding apartments ($1200 and up).
If the parking stayed the same and we got some new carpet or cabinets, Midland would get a 5 star (for the price).
