Disappointed
When we first moved in a little over a year ago, we were unable to see what our apartment was going to look like. Management told us it was because they didn’t have a display like the unit we were moving into, but we shouldn’t worry because we were getting an “updated” unit. Our “updated” unit came with paint that was chipping off the walls, unfinished counter tops, half of a hole in the ceiling because there was a square light fixture there at some point and it was replaced with a circular one,... and our AC didn’t work. We did not have AC from October to May because they “will not send anyone out to look at it until it reaches 85 or above outside”. There were some days where our apartment was 87+ degrees and no one was worried.
We also felt quite safe for the majority of our time here; however recently there has been an increase in car break ins and even stolen vehicles. We had a car broken into and when Management was informed, they did not even have the curiosity to respond and let me know they acknowledge what happened. In 13 months of living here, I could still not tell you what security systems are in place. I’ve never once seen a police officer drive through the complex just to keep an eye on things. Because of the recent crimes, I’ve asked that the lights that are out in our walkway to our front door be replaced 3 separate times since they are burnt out. The first time I was told it was going to be fixed that day; however, they were not replaced and after 2 more reminders to them, I cannot even get a response on when they plan to replace the lights. Us and our neighbors have dealt with dumpster divers for months as well, along with people who do not live in the complex dumping their trash in our dumpsters, and even though Management has been informed, they have done nothing about either of these things as well.
Lastly, the pool is disgusting. It is hardly maintained and the entire deep end was green by early July.
