RENTERS BEWARE
Century Towers markets itself as "luxury apartments." As a former tenant of the building, I'd like to commend the building for living up to its luxury standard.
Amenities are always a big selling point for most renters. Century Towers offers a coffee bar that is never restocked, a mini mart where you'd be better off going out to grab things, and a gym full of dangerous, busted equipment. The building also offers two elevators, though if you live in the upper floors, be prepared to get your... cardio in when one or both elevators break.
Do you like little critters? You'll get a bunch at Century Towers! Critters include roaches, mice, and rats that management will ignore, letting these little fellas stay in your home rent-free.
While the site doesn't include any permanent water features, Century Towers has cascading waterfalls in nearly every window. You can count on standing water in a windowsill accented by black mold anytime it rains.
Century Towers also offers a gated parking lot and fob entry into the building. The guard shack at the entry gate is self-service with no security present. This is probably why there were a series of break-ins to cars and property damage. Tenants pay a monthly parking fee meant for the upkeep of the parking lot, a fee that is going to use based on the many potholes. That's ok because tenants that pay to have their car parked in the lot can have their car towed at any time if management deems it too ugly or "broken down."
I would be remiss to not acknowledge the management team of the building. The issue is, I don't know who to thank, as management is a rotating door with a new team seemingly every six months. Any issues brought to the on-site management team can be expected to be dealt with in four to seven business weeks. Once maintenance comes to fix your issue, expect yourself to be blamed for the issue and not the 25 year old appliances and equipment.
Overall, Century Towers is a lovely place to live with beautiful crumbling walls, lovely mold blooms, and interactive wildlife.
