Outdated, Overpriced, and Poorly Managed
Lived here for 2+ years before finally getting out. The location, in Lafayette Square, is the only benefit here. The apartments themselves are outrageously overpriced. Beware: the listed prices here do not reflect the actual lease contracts - management jacks the prices way up from what is advertised - a bait & switch practice that should be monitored and curbed.
Most of the apartments feature obnoxiously cheap, outdated, inefficient appliances. The paint is old and drab. Carpets are old, torn,... and stained. Walls are paper-thin. Inefficient HVAC units struggle to function year-round leading to higher utility costs. Yet, as other reviewers have pointed out, the management staff are possibly the worst feature. Although staffing has flipped in the last year, it has actually gotten worse! There are many newer, nicer apartment options opening up around the city. I would advise anyone looking for an apartment to save your money (and your sanity) by avoiding these expensive, poorly managed, run-down “lofts.”
