This is a beautifully designed condo in Durham. Steps to the farmers market, the many entertainments and trails. Excellent community events too. I love living here. The main issue is the insulation is minimal so noise travels easily. The neighbor upstairs stomping, the garbage pickup at 3am… all wake you up in the middle of the night.

Beckon is a nice option to live in downtown durham with it being situated a block away from the Main Street. It allows for you to escape the noise from the Main Street but still be able to walk to everything. The vents beckon puts on are always interesting and fun. However the mailroom is typically a huge disaster and the “free” snacks and wine is typically inaccessible/empty. Overall, if you’re looking to spend a ridiculous amount to live in downtown Durham, beckon is a good choice. Durham is... just way more expensive than it needs to be.

The wine machine is only open during office hours, and the food bin is rarely stocked. Aside from the nice neighborhood and friendly maintenance team, it’s another overpriced downtown apartment

It has been great living at the Beckon so far. The gym is great! I enjoy the up to date features of the apartment and the storage, especially in a studio!
