Hated Living Here

Management was horrible!!!

Physical Apartment: While I found the apartment’s interior charming, I found a series of issues with this complex. The first would be the reoccurrence of bugs. While you can keep the apartment clean, there was always this series of roaches that would find their way into your home. As a clean person, I always found this to be a problem.

Secondly was the heating/cooling. This apartment complex operates with a system that you would not have access to cooling after a...
particular season. Being on the fourth floor, my apartment complex would generate an outrageous surge of heat. However, you could not use the cooling system to offset the hot environment due to the heating system being switched on. This was a massive inconvenience due to me liking a cooler setting. So be aware this will be an issue. I had four fans running in multiple rooms to have a living arrangement that was bearable to live in during the summer and spring. Certain winter days are even too hot on the fourth floor.

Thirdly, this home seemingly collects a lot of mold quickly. More specifically, you will quickly see the mold build in the bathroom area. It was hard to battle this issue. You can clean up one day, and boom, the mold will be back quicker than saying “Shazam.” Also, a significant mold issue would occur around the windows.

Fourthly, there are no washer/dryer setups within the home. You have to use the facilities on-site or use a facility off-site. The ones on-site were horrible. I felt the washers barely got your closes washed appropriately, and the dryer took way too many cycles to get your clothes properly dry. You can have them there for over an hour and are guaranteed to have damped clothes still. .

Fifth, while the outside doors have a code lock, the presence of what is probably rentable air BnB/’s means that the code was frequently given out. I felt uncomfortable having people who were not signing tenants in the complex routinely. We even had a homeless man living in the lobby for about a week due to the doors being frequently left propped open. Once in, anyone can come up to any floor. All that separates you from an intruder is a singular bolt lock on the main door of your apartment complex.
Sixth, I had issues with the parking. The parking at this establishment is so tight. You have to squeeze out of your car because of how narrow the spots are.
