Legacy on Elm Apartments

I’ve lived here off and on since 2018. In these last few months after having to fight with previous office staff, regional, and getting the city involved, things have been so much better with new staff, management and maintenance. This is the first time since living here where I don’t have to wait 1-3 months to get maintenance requests completed. Even calling the office is not like before where they were screening people’s calls. Office staff are so polite and easy to work with. And that’s all I... really care about. I currently live here. And these apartments are the pits. Management has changed 3times and the office staff is horrible and rude. Make you feel like you bothering them but if things were right to begin with. Our rent has gone up so much. That part’s understandable but what’s not is watching people move in and get brand new appliances, cabinets, ceilings and more and pay the same price as you. You can never get anything fixed. It takes months to get repairs. Mold and mildew is horrible.... Neighbors loud noises at all hours of the night. It’s just so….horrible. But at least I have a roof over my head. Read More

My sister has lived here for 3 years, and it just keeps getting worse. There is ALWAYS dog poop and giant roaches all over thee steps, hallway, and walk way. She has called about this issue over and over and over. They say they are going to send out notices and never do, but quick to send out a late rent notice. She has to keep boxes stacked in front her door to prevent dogs from pooping on her welcome matt, which has happened 3 times now. i currently stay at legacy on elm and have mold & mildew growing all over my apartment. i put in a maintenance request in on sept 1 & nothing had been done

This place is Gross, it is so unlivable it makes you want to vomit. It is so out dated as in cabinet doors don't shut, their falling out of the walls, under the sinks are wet and nasty, I didn't even want to put my stuff under them. The soap holders are barley screwed on the wall. The screens were ripped. Carpets were not correctly installed, they were all ripping up at the doorways/thresholds. Blinds were so old they crack. Maintenace does not come when they say they are going to. And the... WORST PART of ALL ...they have the WORST and NASTIEST Cockaroach INFESTATION .... It is so bad , you can keep your house spotless and clean up everyday and still there are cockaroaches everywhere ...and they do NOTHING about it...
