Staff is second to none!

An incredible apartment experience overall! In all my years of renting, what really makes the difference is the staff. The Residence has a winning team from maintenance to the Community Manager, Allie M. - recommend to anyone looking for a stylist, comfortable, and elevated accommodation in the Belmont/Mount Holly area

Poorly Built-Management Company Bad

You can hear everything coming from the other apartments,seems the construction did not use ANY insulation. No storage in the apartment, no pantry. Took management almost 2 years to replace broken grills. I could go on, do not recommend in any way. Been through 3 managers in 3 years. Supervisors from head office have no people skills. Rude !

Constant management & maintenance turnover

Beautiful place but they can't keep a property manager longer than a year and the same for maintenance which makes things difficult. There has been at least 5 different property managers in the last 4 years. The property manager will leave and they shift the leasing consultant to the property manager job and depending on the person they get on a power trip. The newest group is rude and unprofessional. And good luck needing something from maintenance. The only thing you're guaranteed to get is an... attitude. The entire bottom floor reeks of marijuana on any given day. Even though rent has almost doubled since COVID they cut out coffee creamer and cups. I've watched it go from being fully stocked to needing to bring your own cup. They claim the creamer is because it walks off but they have cameras so that should be easy to solve. Even the Christmas parties used to have full catered meals and now it's a tray of cookies from Walmart, maybe. Not that it's that big of a deal but they just get cheaper every year.

Great location, courteous and friendly staff

Tailrace is situated in an area that allows easy access to shopping, schools, dining, waterfront activities and medical care! Many amenities located near the complex. Office staff and maintenance are courteous and friendly, willing to help to the best of their ability and maintenance requests are handled promptly, including emergency maintenance. The staff encourage residents to maintain a friendly community environment. Overall excellent location and environment. As with any property, there... are sometimes less than responsible pet owners in residence that don’t pick up after their pets which can be frustrating but management is prompt in attempts to address these and other issues in a professional manner. Great staff!!

Wow

We viewed the property with the property manager and a second person. Awful showing. I could have been given keys and had a better experience. Saddened by the fact that this man is paid to show apartments. Felt I was imposing on his time. We had to seek someone in the office. Then they showed us 2 apartments, no model. We asked about upgrades and told..its just stainless, but you’l have to wipe finger prints...
The place is very sterile, but no one said..You could paint a wall or two and...
make it your own. There was no sale pitch at all. I felt like I was being shown a retirement home. This is what you get...
I asked dimensions of the rooms, he didn’t know them???
The property is in prime location, I feel had someone had some passion about what they were selling, I might have rented.
But instead, In was judged, being told...”you have to make three times the rent to be approved.
If your credit is bad you have to put down a deposit of upto a months rent..
Lets talk profiling.
I am appaulled that this is allowed to happen.
I’d suggest you have a secret shopper visit and see the sales tactics of you property manager.
You pay him and apparently give a discount on rent.
You have a prime location, but I could not live here knowing I have to deal with such poorly trained staff....
NO thank you.
