Roaches

This review is long overdue, but after completing two full 14 month leases at this property, I feel future tenants deserve a clear picture of what to expect. While I have no desire to interact with management again, I hope this helps others make an informed decision.

Pros:
The pool is a great amenity, though it can get crowded, especially with unsupervised kids or the occasional group of high schoolers hopping the fence. To their credit, management did eventually step in.
The gym is clean,...
well-maintained, and one of the better ones I’ve seen in an apartment complex.
The community layout is great for walking and spending time outdoors.
There are two dog parks, which is a plus for pet owners.
The units are spacious with plenty of room to spread out.

Cons:
The carpet in our unit was noticeably old, worn, and held onto odors despite regular cleaning.
And now, the real problem: the roaches. This wasn’t a minor issue, it was a full-blown infestation. We kept our apartment spotless with weekly deep cleans, used airtight containers for all food, avoided cardboard, followed every bit of pest control advice, and still… they never went away.
I put in constant service requests sometimes back to back and it felt like they were just doing generic treatments that weren’t targeted for roaches. I took off work multiple times to speak directly with the pest control technician. He was helpful, but even he admitted the source was likely a neighboring unit.
We found roaches in the stove (yes, crawling around the clock display), cabinets, dishwasher, fridge, microwave, light fixtures, and walls (some pictures attached). We slowly used our kitchen less and less. It returned cleaning everything prior and after cooking.
When we brought sticky traps covered in roaches to the office to show how bad it had gotten, Georgia refused to come near us. She didn’t want to hear it, didn’t want to help, and essentially left us to deal with it on our own. Our online service requests led nowhere, and the lack of urgency or empathy was incredibly frustrating.
We ended up throwing out several belongings just to avoid taking the freeloading roaches with us when we moved.

I can't believe this wasn't my first stop when moving to North Carolina!

I am completely in love with our new apartment home! Everything is amazing from the staff to the property and amenities!! Yes I am raving about how amazing it is here! I have never in my life experienced such amazing service!! I had come by when we first moved to North Carolina and I had met Adrian the leasing consultant only once... fast forward two years later I was ready to make the move to the reserves I walk in unannounced and Adrian remembered my name!!! We hugged and said hello and it... instantly felt like home!! I cannot believe how genuinely friendly and kind and not that fake nice, I mean truly nice and caring. I have never in my 39 years been so incredibly ecstatically happy and in love with where I live until now!!!! I have had small issues and as soon as I called its almost like maintenance literally ran over to fix them it doesn't matter what time of the day or night. Even the tiniest thing they truly want to make this the most amazing living experience and it shows!!! I know that I am screaming the praises of every single person that works here and strives to make it the most amazing experience but it is because I truly love my home and community! My only regret is that I didn't move here first!! For the record I am in now way getting compensated for this review I just love this place and all the wonderful amenities and amazing staff and gorgeous apartments!!!

Bastion for young adults.

The Reserve is very upscale for affordability purposes. The apartment houses many generations of people, most very respectful and quiet. On the same note, the complex bolsters a large number of young adults, couples, and families, providing a fresh start for those starting careers to engage socially. The only downside is the lack of social activities.

SO LOUD!

When I first moved in I was in love with these apartments but it only took a few weeks for that to wear off. My apartment was dirty when I moved in, my AC was also broken the day I moved in, my stove has broken, both toilets ran and I've had 5 wasp nest on my porch. All that in just in two months. The over all worst thing about living here is the walls and ceiling are paper thin. You can hear everything! It may be okay for some but if you live around noise people it's horrible. I can hear my... neighbors moving around all day and night, dogs barking, kids crying, couples fighting, and almost anything else my neighbors do I can hear like they are next to me. It's way over priced for what you are getting. Save yourself the money and shop around because you can get a house for a few hundred less then you will pay here.
