The building does not have a ski lift, but it is conveniently located right next to the slopes. A complimentary shuttle operates on demand, approximately every 30 minutes to nearby Sugar Ski. During the winter months, snowfall can accumulate quickly, even after paths are cleared. If you're visiting in snowy conditions, it is recommended to utilize the complimentary shuttle service for easier and safer commutes. From December through January, 4WD or AWD vehicles are mandatory for accessing Grousemoor Road leading up to Sugartop. This requirement is enforced by the Sugar Mountain Police Department, and tickets will be issued to vehicles that do not meet these requirements.
