Keep looking
Rude property manager lives on site. Maintenance requests incomplete and took months, sometimes more. Unattended water damage in apartment and mold causing family to be sick. Drug dealers and domestic violence in parking lots. One laundry machine and dryer in basement. Infested with all kinds of insects and spiders.

Avoid this place
Do NOT consider moving here. We have lived here just over that year, and in that time:
1. Property management ignore major code violations, including outdated fire extinguishers in hallways (7 years expired)
2. Black mold in several units
3. Recurring mice infestations
4. Septic not maintained : sewage backs up in bathroom sink.
5. Very loud - no insulation between apartments - we can hear our upstairs neighbors use their toilet.
6. Drug dealing in parking lot.
7. Maintenance... issues will go unfixed. Half the time you cannot get the property managers on the phone. If you leave a message, they "never got it".
8. Property managers are rude, unprofessional, and ignore you and your requests. If you ask too much or too frequently (even reasonable requests of repair) they will theaten to evict you.
9. Website bills the property as an "ideal place to raise a family". We were threatened to be kicked out on the first day we brought our baby home from the hospital, despite perfect payment of rent (on time), and no complaints about us from neighbors.
They break the law and housing code left and right. If we had time and finances to take them to court, we would very quickly. We do not wish to spend the first few months of our daughters life in a courtroom battling idiots, so we will settle for this negative review instead.. We need to focus on getting out more than fighting to stay.
Even if your only other option is to live in a cardboard box under a bridge, I would suggest that. You will not have to be subjected to the incompetence, disrespect, and discrimitation this awful place treats you to.
