Great Place To Live
The people here are caring and are for real. They changed this place into a beautiful quiet complex. The maintenance people are great and the property manager only wants to get things done.

This is a great place to live. The grounds are kept beautifully and the staff is amazing. Victoria actually gets things done. I had a problem with my bathroom for 2 years and now since the new management took over they actually repaired it and called me to make sure I was happy with the work. Jerry and Taylor are great. Thank you thank you. Thanks for making this the place so much better.

I’ve been living in Independence Village since March of ‘19 and it has been nothing but headaches. I’m constantly dealing bathroom leaks, which maintenance has not fixed this year. They gutted out the bathroom right before thanksgiving last year and left my bathroom without a sink or wall for 10 days while the person working on my bathroom went on vacation!
There is a roach problem that doesn’t seem to go away either exterminators come but, it’s never enough. I’m looking to move this year.

Terrible rude management! Streets are terrible and will ruin your car . They will enter your apartment without notice anytime they feel like it. Take your money else where! Don't let the "newly renovated apartments" get you.

The apartment complex is 2 stars at best for overall experience. Many factors had made my staying there an annoying experience. The streets/roads around complexes are horrible. Potholes and destroyed streets everywhere, also a lack of parking depending on what section you live on.
The apartment itself is fair, and clean for the most part. I've received an extremly worn down refrigerator (burn marks, and peeled off finish on the side near stove), a nasty stove (grease stains and dirty top). Few... patched up markes from the work they "fixed", but thats my only real complaint as far as the actually apartment.
One factor was the managment, not only is it nearly impossible to reach them, but if its an emergency, they take a few days to get back to you. When they "spray" for pest, they never give you a date or time frame just a letter saying they'll be around. My biggest issue was the company who handles the payments for rent for complex. Even though I paid on time every month, they have "lost" checks, and money orders from me and my neighbors even though we all sent them from different locations. They taken people to court and charge you for their neglect.
The apartment itself, if you are just looking for a place for a little while, is okay, but the other factors have left me stressful with the company. My personal apartment (besides the cold winters and hot summers) was about a 2.5-3 star, but as a whole, I would never recommend anyone who is looking for a nice place to stay, to go there.
