Brand New but built cheaply built and horrible management
It's too late for us, but will be out of here after 12 months. Once committed, it's clear that the management has no interest in improving the property just micro-managing. Never lived in a space where holiday wreaths or doormats were forbidden, food delivery must be picked up in the lobby outside the main front door and there would be regular email complaining that while a package room is advertised, residents are told they need to get their packages as soon as possible - even after work... seems to be too long. As for a package room, only if you consider the box in front of the elevator a room. No amenities, not a gym, or a business center - something even the most modest properties have had both in this area and other parts of the country. The property manager is not on site, but is very rude and I haven't found a single resident who can stand her. There are cameras like it's the old Soviet bloc, even in the trash rooms and I am sure they watch them too. Neighborhood is less than desirable and there is some special relationship between our building and a house at the back of the parking lot...there is an electric gate that often stays open there. It's been a month or so and I'm counting down the months. Any one building a new property would know not to accept from the builder a building where grout and caulk work was left undone, deadbolts felt like there had been decades of the building settling...and again zero amenities...not what you expect from a new property.
