Ah-Mazing!!!

I am a former resident and would move back in a heartbeat! The Super, Robert is THE best! Such a warm, welcoming, and helpful person. He kept the ground spotless and sanitized. The building was secure and the neighbors were very friendly. The neighborhood is in the East Hill, a very beautiful area and walking distance to shopping, restaurants, doctors, yoga, pilates, and more! The apartments are so spacious with beautiful hard wood floors and high ceilings. I may be moving back in the near... future. It was that amazing!

UNHAPPY TENANTS LYING ABOUT PROPERTY.

I read the complaints listed by alleged tenants or former tenants, and they are all false, obviously written by the same person if you compare the verbiage. Whatever the cause of this persons vendetta against the management of Englewood Properties, I have this to say in rebuttal.
I have resided on the property for 21 years, have plenty of heat, however there are always people especially who come from warmer clients that like it to be 80 degrees. The heat is adequate but if a tenant complains,...
the City does an evaluation and if it determined that the heat on premises is adequate, the tenant gets fined for calling the City.
A cleaning service cleans both buildings 3 times a week, the tiled halls are washed and carpets vacuumed, and the glass doors are cleaned. The garbage dumpsters are emptied twice weekly, and I have nothing but glowing words for the property manager who has been compassionate in so many ways, including visiting me in the hospital.
The reference to rental signs in front are to keep apartments rented for the common sense business reasons that owners don't like to lose money when tenants vacate. With 100 tenants, it is common and not unusual for people to move out after a year, buying a house, business transfers, etc.

Awful Management

Sad to say this apartment building has terrible management. Had to leave after 1 year. I constantly complained about very noisy next door neighbors. They were loud, and they were unbearable to listen to anymore. I lost my enjoyment of my new home. I complained to management numerous times and nothing was done. I had to leave for my sanity.

DON'T MOVE HERE.

Terrible management, do not move here.

This apartment building has terrible management. Tenants have to constantly complain and beg the resident manager to do something, It takes weeks sometimes months to get something done if you are lucky. Resident manager is always scared and hesitant to fix something or to confront noisy, problem tenants. He always needs to ask permission from property manager first if he can do anything. The resident manager doesn't even take care of this building. It's always dirty and smells in certain areas... of the building. Also if you need something done that would make you life happier living there, the property manager's answer will always be NO. He will not even think about, always says no to everything. It is a huge hassle to deal with management. They only care about getting rent, thats it. They couldn't care less about their tenants. Long time tenants moved out because of this issue. New tenants do not last long either. They stay for 1 year or less. The "For Rent" sign is always out because tenants are always moving out.

NO HEAT!

The Winter season is here and yet again this building doesn't have any heat! The resident manager refuses to put any more heat on for the apartments. It's not even 65 degrees. If you need to complain, you have to complain to City Hall so someone would come out to check your apartment to see how if the heat works or not and $75 will come out of your pocket. One of many complaints why tenants leave.
