D+ apartment
I lived here for three years and was ecstatic when I was able to move away. The management company is horribly cheap about everything. For example, the squirrels got into the attic and ate the fiber optic cable for my internet service three times and they refused to hire a professional pest service to solve the problem. They finally did something when the Verizon tech threatened to bill the complex, not us, for the repairs (it was happening in the attic; we were on the first floor and had no... access). They also didn't de-ice the stairs to the laundry facility in the basement and I fell down them and landed on concrete. The laundry company that they contract with, Calico, was awful about keeping the machines working and there were never enough for the number of tenants living there. There was also a water leak above our shower in the second floor apartment. I have the pictures to show the ceiling of the shower caving in for six months that they never fixed while we lived there. The kitchen layout was completely non-functional and the way the apartment was designed no air circulates. It can be 70 degrees outside and 90 inside with the windows all open. We had one of the apartments with a basement and the mildew, mold, centipedes, and cockroaches were awful. Finally, I found termites in my basement, told the manager, and he did nothing. I had to move all of my things out of the basement for fear of them getting into my papers and destroying them.
The grounds look fine and it seems OK from the outside, but living in that apartment was utter misery. Especially when you factor in the significant annual rent increases it quickly becomes almost as expensive as a far nicer apartment.
