22 Gifford Ave Apartments

I have lived here for months now and I wanted to wait until we left to write this review. We moved in during the winter and we did not have hot water for weeks and heat for two months. That should’ve been the first sign to run. We then started to come home to mice in our kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom. The elevator is broken and they are renovating all the apartments in the building. They start at 9am and so if you’re a night owl or work a grave yard shift and you like to sleep during the day,... you will not get any. The dishwasher broke months ago and molded our dishes, we’ve been waiting on a replacement. The elevator has been broken, for months so going to the laundromat, grocery store, etc. is hassle. The doors downstairs will lock and will not open (with or w/o the key or code) some of us have been locked out the building at 2am, because the keys/code they issue are invalid or simply do not work. I never get packages delivered here anymore because they are
easily accessible and left downstairs and are often stolen (the building has signage threatening thieves not to steal it’s so common). There is a funeral home on the back of the building and the workers are up loud and noisy as early as 6am and will wake you out of your sleep yelling at other drivers. I personally have not had a worst experience such as this one. I give them two stars because it’s visually appeasing but that’s as far as it goes. Not worth the money spent, if you have absolutely no where else to go then I say cool but this should definitely be last on your list. Read More
