Overall a Great Complex
I've lived in this complex for the last 2 years while finishing my graduate degree. My roommate and I toured and researched dozens of apartments in the surrounding areas prior to selecting Laurel Hill. Overall, this is a great complex if you're looking for a decent apartment with 2 FULL bathrooms and a washer/dryer in unit for a very reasonable price. This isn't a luxury unit by any means, but the carpet is either new or thoroughly cleaned upon move-in, the entire unit gets cleaned and any... updates made prior to you moving in, the closet space is wonderful, and the kitchen is spacious with functioning appliances and nice-looking countertops.
We live in a two bedroom and the second bedroom is significantly smaller, but the closet space is fairly equal in both rooms (wall to wall). The apartment is huge otherwise, and our living/dining area is enormous. As many have mentioned, the biggest downside about these apartments is the thin walls. We live on the top floor, but you really can hear everything going on below and next to you sometimes. I wouldn't say it's so bad you hear even footsteps, but if the TV is on too loud or anyone is rough-housing, you hear it all. Overall we've managed fine with the occasional noise, but it's defiantly not the quietest apartment depending on your neighbors and where in the building you are.
Maintenence is great and anytime we had issues someone was out either within the HOUR or the following morning if we sent an email after 5 PM. Very approachable and kind when you see them about the complex! Grocery store down the road is also super convenient, and it's a pretty nice complex with trees and nice landscaping despite being just off a major road.
