Fire Alarm System

There is a serious issue with the fire alarm system. It constantly goes off (without reason) frightening all of us. I am appalled that it has been not been addressed/fixed. 3 year tennant but moving out now because of this. Otherwise a fantastic building.

"Luxury" - so they claim

I've been here a few months and let me just say, the word luxury should be used loosely here. It's brand new but pretty standard at best. I do like my apartment, plenty of space, carpeted bedroom, in unit washer/dryer, balcony, energy efficient products & A/C, nice bathroom, no complaints there. Would I stay beyond my lease? Absolutely not! Here's why:

Parking is becoming a real issue. Barely enough spots for residents leaving no spots for guests. Residents who have a garage and driveway will...
park 1 car in the garage and the other in a parking spot (when they have their own driveway). They do not enforce parking rules, there's no street parking, so for the day we don't have enough spots, they have yet to provide a solution.

For a brand new building, lots of scratches and chipped paint in the hallways, paint splatter on door knobs, floors and other places, dented doors. Elevator squeaks and the door can take up to 3 times to close.

Not a lot of amenities. You have a small gym, clubhouse with a pool table, grills and a firepit. But apparently we are children and cannot use the firepit on our own... we have to CALL someone to use the firepit. Give me a break.

I also second the other reviewer...you can hear everything in the hallway and you hear people walking above you as clear as day. For someone who wakes up early, I don't want to be hearing thumping above me close to midnight when my fan cannot drown out the noise.

This place does have potential, but it seems to be one of those places they built in a rush and cut many corners.

I would give it a 4 star at most IF they fix the parking situation at minimum. But if you plan on moving here, opt for a 4th floor and a garage to eliminate the parking and some of the noise issue. That does come at a cost, so I would recommend Parc at Roxbury if you want parking and legit luxury amenities, such as a pool and hot tub.

Nothing but problems

We count down the days until our lease is over. Nothing but problems since we moved in, and the neighbors we’ve met echo our concerns. The floors and walls are paper thin. We hear CONSTANT noise from our neighbors. This is not an exaggeration. We run white noise machines to try to drown out the noise, but we still here it. I have to wake up very early for work and it is a huge inconvenience to hear them at all hours. We’ve had several water leaks since we moved in. This is a brand new apartment... and we’re the first to live here. Nothing should leak. The second our lease is up, we’re outta here. If you’re the next person to rent our apartment I’m truly sorry. The apartment itself is great. But the neighbors and the building issues make us completely miserable here. I wish it was different. I feel like this place could be great. But this is the honest truth.
