I've lived at Tiffany Manor for over four years and had no incidents of any kind there. My rent was always paid on time and via cashier's check. I comported myself with integrity throughout my time at Tiffany Manor.
When moving in, a prospective tenant is required to provide one and a half months of security is addition to one months rent. The organization requests thirty (30) days notice of your intent to move.
In my case, I received an offer letter for a position on the West Coast that... required me to start in eighteen (18) days from receipt of offer. I notified the management office immediately, notified them of the reasons for my abrupt move and formally requested my security deposit returned to me (over $2,000).
I did not take the precaution of sending them a certified letter or having them countersign the letter that I provided ... which I should have
The company refused to return my security deposit.
This is not a place for prospective honest tenants. If you do opt to rent here, be on your toes and adopt a solid business footing with them. No verbal agreements, do not sign anything with them without reviewing and (possibly) redlining the document. Pay particular attention to the safety of your car in the parking lot and insure that Tiffany Manor is legally responsible for your property in their "secure" parking area.
I was lax in my approach with them but make certain that YOU are not. Please accept my experience as a lesson. I paid for it ... so please take heed to the lesson I learned with this apartment complex.
