Don't be fooled- Do your Research
While SOME of the apartments are newly "renovated" the building is OLD and has quite a bit of needed maintenance from years of patchwork. The pool is not working and has not been for several years. Elevator is often down for repair and extermination; A MUST if you live here no matter how clean you are is not consistent. Pray that your packages do not get stolen and you have good neighbors. The super is responsive for the most part with responding to tickets. The building is walking distance from... NYC train if you commute and on a bus route. Parking lot is owned by third party and costs $100 outside of your rental fees. If you want a larger apartment then what's currently offered on the market and can deal with the above plus more then go for it, move right on in. Honestly, overall the rent (which WILL increase yearly) does not equal the quality of building.
