Awesome place to live.
My husband, our roommate and I have been living at the club for close to one year. The management team, the maintenance team and everyone that works for the building is absolutely lovely. Even the lifeguard during the summer is a good person but ONLY sometimes I do worry, he talked too much or played on his phone and didn’t focus on the kids... on the other hand, Sometimes he was in the pool playing Marco Polo with them. The community is great and very accepting. My husband and I are a part of... the lgbt community and we have our pride flag raised and we still get compliments from neighbors saying they love our flag. I think our neighbors are truly the best part of living in this complex because they are all such good people. The pool, gym, walking path, tennis courts, water bill, sewer bill, trash removal, home insurance, and lounge are all included in the rent. Nobody uses some of these, so you can get them all to yourself or one other person sometimes. Everything is clean and well maintained. They are responsive to maintenance emergencies, financial struggles and any concerns you may have. I would recommend calling versus email because there was only ONE time I didn’t receive an email back. There are some cons... parking really isn’t hard to find but if you are the last to get home, you may be parking in the street (no big deal though). Their isn’t a lot of recycling bins offered near our building so our recycling piles up and sometimes it’s so full, we will leave it in front of the bin and the recycling truck will literally pick up the bin and leave the rest on the ground, so then we put it in the bin but once we put everything on the ground in, it’s filled again already. People sometimes don’t pick up after their dogs and my dog likes to eat poop so I’m always nervous walking her because she may get a disease from lazy people who can’t clean up after their dogs. A lot of these things they cannot control 100% and they have done everything they can for people who have dogs. The only thing left to do is put cameras around the walking path and throwing fines at anyone who leaves it there. The apartment itself is spacious and it’s the first home I’ve had that truly feels like home!
Update: we just got papers for renewing our lease and just wanted to make a note that our rent has only gone up $20. The problem with the dog poop has only gotten worse. They keep sending notifications warning people they will get a fine.
