Don’t go to Greystar Properties
Literally have to call them constantly to fix maintenance items, or it won’t get done. They are hard to track them down in person or by phone if you need to speak to the front office directly.
They will push every operating cost onto renters they can. They would push property taxes if they could on top of base rent. They literally charge each resident for the pool water and electricity in the common room and their offices. They also charge you for in unit “internet” that doesn’t work well. I... had multiple tech visits to try and fix the internet and they still couldn’t do it.
Upon moving out, I was told that I would be charged an early termination fee for moving out before 60 days, or I could extend for another month at month-to-month rates- which I did. Upon move-out, I was charged 162 in cleaning fees-even though I left the apartment cleaner than when I moved in-as well as an early termination fee (one full month’s rent) that they told me I would avoid. It was exactly 60 days of notice if the day I turned it in was counted as well…
