Ghetto Monterey

Cockroaches. Homeless vagrants wandering day and night. Passgates and laundry room doors that don't work. Drive-in gates that work only on occasion. Maintenance that rarely shows up and never cleans up after themselves. Office people that couldn't care less about ANY of these issues (which is why they never get fixed). Talk to the office staff and and they act as if you're just nuisance. They show absolutely no interest in making this place any less of a dump! Want to know what you'll get from… these people? Excuses and empty promises. "We're sorry you feel that way..." I don't buy 1 word of it. And they felt it necessary to raise the rent during a pandemic! Don't come here and don't believe anything they tell you! You will regret it!

Beautiful Complex

I've been here for 8 years and my opinion is this Management is one of the best management by far.

Joyce greets you with a smile everytime you see her. She always ask you how you're doing. Sherry and Jennifer as well.

I can say when I needed something fix it was done promptly. Lex has been an outstanding worker. I should have left this review 3 yrs ago.

I'm leaving one now because of the few of the dissatisfied renters.

Villa Monterey is a beautiful community to live and it's by… everything, especially if you don't have a Vehicle.

This review is my opinion of this complex and if it was as bad as a few say, I wouldn't still be here.

Joyce, apt manager very friendly and helpful

I'm from CA and wanted to relocate. I am divorced, low income, and I had to find something less expensive. Joyce, always friendly and upbeat when we talked, told me about surroundings and how it was, and what was around area. Really appreciate the time and effort she put in for me being 4 hrs away and not seeing property. I highly recommend them because of their customer service and follow through. Other companies weren't as friendly or wanting to help. Thank you again!

The ONE STARS are true.

Pay close attention to the ONE STARS. They are true. This place is a dump and management is incompetent. When they finally do what they are paid to do, they want you to go online and give them accolades - hence the stars that are 3,4 or 5. And if they don't see your wonderful review, good luck trying to get a work order completed next time. Yes, there are mice here and the appliances are donated, so they are old. On any given day, you will find dead mice in the grass - where dogs walk, which… will inevitably lead to disease. Look elsewhere.

appalling maintenance service. since Tuesday 04/16/19 I called the office to connect the air conditioning and on Wednesday 17 I went in person to ask for the same and still today day 19 I have not put it. these airs because of how obsolete they are, they can not be connected directly from inside the apartment, it has to come maintenance to put it and it is making great heat in them.
